Let us take,
Volume of tank = 11.5 me
Relieving pressure = 16.5 kg/cmwg
Relieving temp = 90.8°C
Density @ relieving temp = 58.5 kg/me
Heat capacity ratio gamma= 1.1

What will be relieving rate in kg/hr ?

Please help me to figure out this.

Hi,

Consider to study this material :

https://www.aiche.or.../20131068_r.pdf

note : Is it an existing system ? What is the scenario identified to size the PSV?

We have no indication about the product stored , what is the Molecular weight ?

Btw , you need to clarify the unit your are using for relief pressure .

Good luck

Any formula for Relieving rate ??
According I can provide you process data.BTW molecular mass is 100.5 g/mol.
I have tried many times , but not able to get relieving rate formula.
If you have , please provide in(SI unit).

Thanks in advance

There is not enough information.  We do not know the incoming energy (fire?) or flow (normal vent blocked?) that has created your sizing scenario.  Describe what is going on, in detail.

Let you consider fire case. API 520 and 521 will help greatly.

If you have any specific questions, we’ll try to answer.

Everywhere relieving rate is given in question itself. And I need to calculate relieving rate.
If someone knows please write formula here. I have many PDF regarding PSV sizing. But nowhere relieving rate is calculated. Everywhere Relieving rate ie defined in question itself.

“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime” - Chinese proverb.

The formula is in the references you’ve already been told about and given.
