hi everyone,

I am a chemical engineering student learning how to use Hysys, i know the basic of it already but i have a question

when i already have some design on it and already the program made some calculations for me and, for example, Delete a stream. then a warning show up, but the problem after it is that even when i put the stream with all the correct conditions back, Hysys will not calculate anything more. And even worse, all the calculations already made are gone.

the only thing to get the process, or design working again is restarting Hysys and doing it again from the begining

Theres something i can do to solve this situation??

Thx everyone

Hello Daialos,

Hysys automatically solves the flowsheet environment as soon as all required input parameters are set. So, if I understood your question well (it is kind of confusing), either your solver button is put on hold or there is no sufficient information for Hysys to run.

When making those changes you described, ensure the following minimum requirements:

- Components and fluid package are chosen
- All streams and unit operations are fully specified (not underspecified or overspecified)
- Solver button is ON

Thx for your message, the problem was that the solver button was on hold exactly like u said.

Thx for all
