Dear GECian,

First of all we ought to know the goal of our simulation. in a sulfuric acid plant design the designer company is not responsible for catalyst quality. they just order to catalyst producers and the producers must gauranty the quality of the catalyst and also some necessary parameters like pressure drop and persentage of conversions in beds. in this point of view catalyst parameters for a catalyst bed in sulfuric acid plant are diffrent according to their producers and also catalyst's types. catalyst producers don't reveal these parameters because it's their know how.

So as a designer you should calculate the necessary pressure drop and also conversion% in each converter bed and ask a catalyst producer company like BASF or Monsanto to gauranty them.for these calculation you can use a stoichiometric reactor in aspen plus.
I hope this can help you.
