Hi all,

Quick question, I cannot seem to be able to define the units for the flowrate of my streams. Currently, when I double-click on a stream and go to Flowrate and Composition, the flowrate's units are kg-mol/hr. I would like this to change to be m3/hr as this is what my plant data is in. Is there a way I can define a stream's composition on a molar % basis and then still have the overall flowrate in m3/hr? I cannot seem to find out where to change it!

Thanks and regards,

Tom Pritchard

Schismatic,

Put cursor in the flowrate block and then click on 'UOM' button in the menu bar.
You will be able to change the appropriate units as per yr requirement.

The same change can be done in individual component's column also.

Regards

Shreyas

Hi Schismatic,

Under input button in the toolbar, click on units of measure, there you can define the input units.

Hope this helps,

Laobill
