Dear All

Is there any facility for Balance, Adjust or set in PROII software, same as HYSYS?

Yes, slightly different. You can accomplish the same functionality using CALCULATOR and CONTROLLER blocks, and DEFINE statements. This is from memory, I don't have Pro/II here, but check out the manual for these blocks and statements.

I concur with what joerd says. The controller function in Pro2 is very similar to the adjust function in Hysys. Though I have limited familiarity with Hysys, I believe the functions you mentioned are covered in Pro2. Check out the Multivariable Controller, Optimizer, and Stream Calculator functions, in addition to Define and Calculator functions mentioned by joerd. Somewhere in there you should be able to find what you need. If not, and you develop more specific questions, just post them.

thanks dear friend.
i have a steram(S-1) with varibale flow rate, and i want to set automaticaly just the flowrate of another stream (S-2) with S-1 flow rate. composition of S-2 will be defined by may self , and it is not variable.

It's sometimes quite difficult to concisely present highly conceptual thoughts such as these in a reasonable amount of space. Therefore, I have some doubts that I properly understand your inquiry. Nonetheless, I will attempt to answer it as follows:

My understanding is that-
1-Your stream S-1 is fully defined with a composition and a flowrate.
2-Your stream S-2 has a fully defined composition, perhaps different from S-1.
3-You would like to set the flowrate of S-2 = flowrate of S-1.

My suggestion is to set up a predecessor for stream S-2, let's call it S-2A, with the correct composition. Run S-2A into a Stream Calculator unit. Now, let's assume S-2 is the bottom product from the Stream Calculator. There set up the product specification so that the bottom product flowrate is equal to the stream S-1 flowrate. That should do it.
Regards,
Doug
