hi,

This is my first post to the forum , excuse me for anything not clear...

I am doing the settle-out calculation for compressor system and calculated the volume of all the piping and equipment except compressor. Can anybody help me out to tell me how to calculate the volume of the compressor?

I think this data shall be raised by vendor in compressor data sheet.

Regards

You may consider to discuss with your mechanical engineer so that he/she can roughly make a preliminary selection and then obtain a volume from similar compressor. Then you reconfirm in later stage once vendor advise you...This will not stop you from progress...

Previous experiences (limited) shown that compressor volume don't give much impact to the settle-out pressure.
