Dear all,
I've been working on a polypropylene project and we're currently having a plot plan meeting. We have two sphere tanks for storaging propylene (diameter 13m, design pressure 23kg/cm2g) which locate near to the plant fence. A problem occurs when we don't really know what codes/standards are applied to determine the safe distance from the spheres to the fence and equipment nearby. Local regulations dont specify the safety distance for propylene or polypropylene plant. I believe if there is a standard applicable to LPG, then which could also be used for Propylene.
If you have experience on this problem or you know any codes/standards that can be applied to this situation, please share. Thank you for reading.
Best Regards
