Just curious- where could I go to hire a chemical engineer for a recipe?

You haven't provided us with any information about your geographical location nor have you suggested what type of "recipe" you are interested in. Both factors could totally change what a forum member might suggest to you. Without any further information, I'd suggest "googling" chemical engineer or engineering consultant and following the hyperlinks until you find what you want. (This question may be better suited for a chemist, pharmacist, or even a baker, so please provide additional detailed information if you don't find the answer you seek.)
