Hi
I'm sorry for the intrusion, but I'm a litter desperate. I'm doing my thesis about an absorption tower, recovering HF with benzene as solvent, i'm doing the simulation case in Hysys, and i have som troubles selecting the right thermodynamic model. Could you help me?
Thanks Thanks Thanks a lot!!!!

If I were you - id just use NRTL for no better reason than I always use it. You can always re-run the simulation using different models and see if there's any major differences.

However, I'm just lazy - what you should do is research each and every model thoroughly so that you understand the basis and limitations of each one.

Some good summaries have been done on the subject though smile.gif

Actually - you could just google it or ask your professor
