Dear all:

I just came across a site (discussion on corrosion/permeation) where they were discussing a software simulation tool for unsteady permeation and chemical degradation in polymer and composite materials. At the forum it is stated the the tool has capabilities with regard to prediction of permeation behaviour, chemicals solubility and corrosion of polymer matrix based construction materials, if these plastic based materials are exposed to chemicals in real life circumstances.

My question is, is anyone familiar with this physical-chemical simulation progamme? Is it a new concept? Should it be used in addition to other chemical simulation programmes?
