Hello,

I'm a MSc student and I try to simulate a biodiesel process production in Aspen Plus. I don't use HYSYS due to the lack of its library in data. I have a stream containing a fatty acid ester, a triglyceride and sulfuric acid. As you may know, I can't use a distillation column for this separation, because the bottom stream's temperature will rise and it will break the fatty acid chain. So, I tried to use an extraction column using as solvent water, glycerol but I can't find the solution. I tried many models to simulate.
What do you propose about this?

Thank you very much in advance.
