Hi frens

good evening

actually at this time iam practicing hysis software my self

at the time of practicing iam getting many doubts

in the initial step i make the PFD


for that simply i copied predefined pfd in the hysis and renamed that pfd by save as

is it correct procedure to make the pfd in hysis or der any others procedures are der plz clarify

ASAP

Malawi,

It all depends what kind of flowsheet/process you need to build, and what do you mean by "predefined flowsheet" (HYSYS examples)? If you refer to HYSYS example files, you can simply make a comparison between your plant configuration and unit configuration in software examples, add/delete certain unit operations if required, and set the operating parameters as they are in the existing (or new) plant. I recommend you not to use "predefined cases", simply because you can learn much more if you start from the scratch. The best way is to start from the beginning: that way you'll be able to learn how to define components, fluid package(s), and other subjects which are required for accurate modeling. Aspen tutorials offer the complete assistance.
