Hello..I'm new to the business and would greatly appreciate if someone can share their knowledge on how to calculate the displaced vapor in a propane storage tank during loading operation?

Regards,
Lara

lara,

I don't understand what is so complicated about calculating the amount of vapor displaced from the contianer which is being loaded.

In volumetric terms it is simply the volume that is being filled up by liquid propane. Additionally if the amount is required in terms of weight, then just multiply the volume by the density of the gas at the operating pressure and temperature of the container.

Ankur.
