Can anyone tell me, how the pressure drop, subcooled delta T, reboiler duty positive and the minimal diameter can be according to the given example on the attachment.
Due to my inexperince on this filed and the considerable delay to bring the Chemcad software by University, your help would be very useful and neccessary on helping me out how to tackle the problmes of this nature.
I will appreciate any advice that will be given by you in order that this Simulation be comported with my diploma topic.
hello
if you watch the help link in chemcad you can find this :
Subcooled delta T
Subcooling may be specified for a total condenser. The number entered is the number of degrees below the bubble point of the liquid distillate. It is NOT the condenser temperature. For instance, to specify a total condenser which operates at a temperature 20 F below the bubble point of the liquid distillate, set the condenser type to 0 and the condenser degrees of subcooling to 20.
then it can suggest you the type of condenser that you should use and how it works.
the pressure drop is used to desing a column if you want to do a simulation high fidelity you must enter this value.
reboiler duty positive is the value of heat exchange or the heat that the reboiler provide to the liquiq it depends of the liquiq composition
and the minimal diameter i dont know what are you talking about..
best regards
