Goodmorning,
i have a process data sheet in my hand for a cyclone scrubber for natural gas.
Attached are the physical properties of the gas written in the datasheet:

Well, i've tried to convert the 36.67 MMSCMD (million standard cubic meters per day) in order to obtain the equivalent kg as indicated in datasheet but something doesn't give me the exact number, can you tell me what is wrong?
This is my calculation:
Note:
- P0 and T0 are respectively 1 bar and 0°C(273.15 K) – Normal Condition (I prefere to work with normal cubic meters)
- Normal Cubic meter: 1.0561 Standard cubic meter

In this manner i have as result 1440000 kg/hr and not 1143600 kg/hr....

Where i was wrong?

Hi Matteo,

I think the problem might be related to the gas compressibiltiy (Z factor). The compressibilty for the gas will be different at standard conditions (closer to unity) than at actual conditions. You need to multiply by the gas compressibilty, if the value is approx. 0.9 at actual conditions then the by my calculations i get 1,143,600 kg/h. See attached spreadsheet (please forgive crudeness its was done quickly).

Using UCONEER , I got 1.1438E6 kg/h , (standard condition 60F,14.7 PSIa )

It looks like you have it backwards:
1 Standard cubic meter (at 60 F, 14.7 psia = 15.56 C, 1 atm) = 1.0561 Normal cubic meter (at 0 C, 1 atm).
