I have a piping and metering system that contains 50% NaOH. It must be insulated and heat traced to keep it form freezing during cold weather. Typically aluminum is used as the protective jacket material for the insulation. However, a NaOH leak would dissolve the aluminum. Do you know of a better material to use for the insulation jacket?
