I have downloaded and prediction is excellent..What about super critical fluids ?
Unfortunately, the precision of these equations is a real issue. As your example shows it for ammonia, you have respectively a liquid density of 0.510 and 0.606 g/cm3. Refprop calculation gives 0.584 g/cm3, which shows respectively 12% and 3% difference.
I have checked many of these equations; very few give satisfaction ( i.e. precision unde 2 % ) over an entire range of temperatures and at the condition to stay under 90% of the critical temperature. Among the simple ones are : Guggenheim, SNMO, and PTV ( patel-teja-valderama). Regards
