During engineering phase of compression facilities project , the contractor has proposed for us to use TMPCP pipe in the processing area(compression section ,HP &LP flares , inlet separation) in accordance with code API 5L Psl2 X60 ,

ours standard is to use pipe for process purpose in accordance with ASME B31.3

effluent : natural gas

concerned pipe size: 64" ,56",48",36",.......8"

pressure = 10 to 57 bara

temperature= 10°c to 140°

material : CS , LTCS

please advise us if this prposal is accepable and secure at all expected cases

and also to inform us the advantage and disavatge of this solution in term of price , shedule,operability ,security and reliability during the life of the facilities.
