Hello,

Can anyone tell me where I can find a copy of Capcost, or some other form of capital estimation software for process equipment?

Thanks,

Brian

Hello Brian,

Capcost is included with the textbook "Analysis, Synthesis and Design of Chemical Processes" by R. Turton, R.C. Bailie, W.B. Whiting, J.A. Shaeiwitz, R.C. Bailie. More info you can find at: http://search.barnes...N=9780135705650
or: http://www.lavoisier...e/gb327954.html

Alternative way is to furnish process equipment datasheets and float these to equipment manufacturing companies. They are usually willing to submit budgetary quotation based on your inputs.

Regards,
