Hi all,
there is one Vertically Suspended Canned Pump in my workplace.
When we opened it for overhaul, we found out that the first two impeller does not have the impeller's back wear ring.
The casing is also do not have the wear ring at that particular area.
The suction eye area still have the wear ring as normal.
The remaining impeller all are having the suction eye and impeller's back wear ring.
Referring to the catalog, the part number says that it is the Unbalance Impeller and Unbalance Bowl.
Dos anybody know what is the meaning and purpose?
Thanks.
