I have not dealt with waste heat boilers of firetube type (watertube was adopted for combined cycle power plants), yet no response has been so far received. You can start with
http://www.rentechbo...ste_boilers.php '> http://www.rentechbo...ste_boilers.php
http://www.firecad.n...ube-Boiler.aspx '> http://www.firecad.n...ube-Boiler.aspx
http://www.optimus-t...m/whboilers.htm '> http://www.optimus-t...m/whboilers.htm
The waste heat boiler may or may not have burners (duck firing), used when flue gas flow or temperature is not enough.
I understand that this boiler can be mainly represented as a tubular exchanger to be sized.
