Please
help me in finding the distance travelled by a Negative Pressure wave when
there is a 3/4" leak hole occured on a gas pipeline.

The parameters are as
follows:

Fluid : Sales Gas

Design Flow(MMSCFD): 1255

Normal Operating Pressure:
716 psig

Minimum Operating Pressure:
622.3 psig

Design Pressure: 1100

Design Temperature: 155 deg
F

Gas density: 2.32 LB/FT3

Line Size (Pipeline
Diameter): 56"

Fluid Velocity: 43.4 FT/SEC

Thanks in advance for your
kind help.

Thanks & Regards,
