If we do hydrotest at night vs at noon, is there any difference on the water pressure during hydrotest? I heard from QC Engineer, during at night, they did hydrotest but the water pressure was decreasing and it had quite significant effect on hydrotest pressure. I am confused, since what I know water is incompressible fluid, which temperature should not affect pressure that much.

Please give some explanation on this.

Thanks so much!

Hi,

Make sure you don't have air trapped with the water and if exposed to high temperature you may see the pressure rising .

I experienced such phenomena on a fire fighting network above ground in Thailand .

Hope this helps
