Sorry for the basic question. I never seen the gravitational acceleration unit in g’s. Does 1 g’s equivalent to 9.8 m/s2 ? . Refer snapshot for the unit. I think it should be same.

I think the gravitational acceleration equal to 1 refers to the gravity acceleration at sea level...Then obviously it is going to be lower than 1 depending on the elevation from the sea level...
