Hello,

 

I'am on the last year of Chemical Engineering master degree and i'am working on a Ethylbenzene project (2nd part). At the moment i need to make all the material and energy balances, but that's not what i will ask.

 

In the 1st part of my project i choose Lummus/UOP EBOne process after the technology analysis.

 

Now, the question: Someone knows what are the equipments represented with yellow color? The only thing i know is: the vertical column is a lights removal column, but i need to know specifically what they are to simulate the process using aspen tech.

The first yellow horizontal vessel from the top of the benzene separation column is the column reflux vessel. The next yellow vertical vessel its connected to is a lights flash separator which can be simulated as a flash separator. This flash separator is useful in that it allows more recovery of feed to be flashed and recycled back to the reactor. The next column is the ethylbenzene separation column and the yellow vessel connected to it is its column reflux vessel.

hello can anyone tell me process of ethylbenzene which is  production of Ebone in detailed. I've been searching for it but couldn't find any. I really need someone help so badly
