Hi everyone

I need to produce nitric acid using ammonia (the only available material for me).

I would like to know if I have to use catalytic oxidation (if yes, please give me a cheap kind of catalyst I can use, I read that in the link below that I can use copper but honestly I want to know how true is that:

Alternatively, can I just burn ammonia using an oxidant like potassium chlorate? (I know it is impossible to burn ammonia in the air)
