Good day. I am an incoming 5th year chemical engineering student and this summer, I will be having my on the job training in a geothermal plant. Can someone help me with information(1st hand experience would be best) about what should I expect there when I start? Like concepts in thermodynamics that I should be reviewing or that will be very useful in such a plant.

I suggest you contact the plant and get the answers from your new supervisor. If you ask properly, the question should not be a bother and will demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm which may even help the company to form a favorable impression of you.
