I have studied chemical engineering and completed my Bachelor degree. I have always worked as a process engineer since my Junior days. I have eight years experience in the Basemetal and precius metal concentrating and refining. I also have some experience in uranium extraction.

Hi friends i need help for centrifugal compressor discharge PSV size. My question is if we have suction flow of 8000kg/h and density of gas is 2.470kg/m3, in case of blocked outlet, what would be the discharge flow of PSV? I mean PSV discharge flow would be same as Compressor discharge or more or less? Can anyone help?

In the context of refining they mean:
CDU = Crude Distillation Unit (or Atmospheric Distillation Unit)
VDU = Vacuum Distillation Unit
There is an easy-to-read article on this website about it. Check: http://www.cheresources.com/refining.shtml
Next time try to post on the student's forum...
