i'm studying about the pressure surge for the product export system. The system drived by a gear pump.
i'd like to know how to model it (gear pump) into the PIPENET (Transient Module).
now, i have a linear pump curve covering the flow rate from 219 to 243 m3/h VS the diff P from 12 to 0 bar respectively.
i just enter the curve data into the PIPENET, but the strange result is shown when i study about pump trip scenario.
The highest pressure is higher than 100 bar (I think it may be PIPENET try to extrapolate the flow to the flow rate of 0 m3/h).

What is the solution for this kind of simulation?
