Does any one of you have experienced, HRSG Drum Level control valves anticavitation disc choking due to excessesive magnetite? If yes, how to control the excessive magnetite in Feed water? We are operating DEA under atmospheric pressure, DEA feed is from the steam condensor and Plant condensate return. Dosing of Ammonia in Condensor return is being done, while hydrazine dosing in BFP suction.
Please share your comments and experience, i will appriciate if you could help in solving this chronic issue.
