Dear:

you can check the components in the syngas, my suggestion is using RK-SOAVE in Aspen plus, using PR in HYSYS.

Best wishes.

HYSYS example from the library uses Peng-Robinson equation of state.
By the way, simulating Selexol unit in HYSYS does not give quite reliable results.

you can't simulate the steam methane reformer furnace by general software like ASPEN PLUS, HYSYS, PRO II becuse this reaction is a kinetic reaction and needs length of reactor, catalyst material, catalyst shape and burner conditions(TOP FIRED, TRACED WALL,...).
if you have conversion of this reaction you can simulate this furnace by hysys, aspen, pro ii, chemcad but it is very simple and you can get only the duty and the outlet composition without any information about furnace.you can do this by RIPI_REFSIM.

for CO2 absorption in the tower you can't simulate this process by recent hysys. you can do this by hysys version 3.0.1 or 3.1 and using OLI electrolit package but using aspen plus and ELENRTL with HENRY'S LAW for CO2 is very beter than hysys and using PRO II by AMSIM package is best(AMSIM is a madul that it is added in PRO II version 8.0 and later)
