Hi all,

Does anyone have a reference or just an idea (+/- 30% estimate) for the cost of installing a large API 650 design tank in an onshore location.

I have material costs, however I was looking for an estimate/rule of thumb guide that I could use to give me an estimate for an installed cost - i.e. inlcuding civil costs, erection, etc.

Any information greatly appreciated.

You can get a ball park estimate along with the methodology used for the complete tank from the following:

Section: Tanks, Pressure Vessels & Storage Equipment
Chapter 14, Materials Transfer, Handling, and Treatment Equipment - Design & Costs
"Plant Design & Economics for Chemical Engineers, 4th Edition, Peters & Timmerhaus"

I have the 4th edition and hence referring the same. If you can access the latest edition (presumably 5th edition) you might find cost data close to current times.
