Dear friends,

I'm trying to build enthalpy vs temperature curve for naphta in HYSYS. My troubles are:
1. How to define the naphta by following properties: density, distillation curve and PINA?
2. How to build h-T plot for the stream? I know where to find enthalpy value for defined conditions, but I need its dependence on T. Maybe some add-ins or other Aspen program can be used for that?

Thank you for any help.

1. For defining petroleum cuts in HYSYS, use the "Oil Manager" option within Basis Environment (the same sequence/window where you define the components, fluid package etc.)
2. This should be available within Tools --> Databook option in the main simulation window. Use stream temperature as an idependent variable and look if enthalpy is available within the list of dependent variables. Then set the range of temperatures and run the show. You can also include pressure to be the second independent variable.

Thank you, Zauberberg.
Property charts are exactly there, in Case studies of Databook, and enthalpy is available.
Concerning naphta, I didn't find how to define PINA distribution. Lots of options and no example in manual by that issue.

PNA content is entered by using "Chromatograph" option under the Assay Data Type. See attached picture.
However, for some reason, it looks like it cannot be combined with other input data (e.g. distillation curve). You may try - I haven't used this option in the past. TBP data was good enough.
