Sirs

I have a nitrogen transfer line from a nitrogen production plant of air products, and i am supplying to an existing header at 70 psig.If the pressure goes above 70 psig i have to relieve the excess pressure using a relief valve. But since the production is by a third party i dont know the scenario for which i have to size the PSV and the flowrate to be relieved.I think that the gaseous nitrogen is being produced from a vaporiser.

Coudl u guide me on the scenario to be considered.Should i consider that the hot fluid which is coming to the vaporiser will be at its highest possible temperature.?

Regards

The third party should consider himself the overpressure protection by proper PSV,otherwise should submit the relief load of all scenarios to you for sizing proper PSV.
