I am looking for the process to treat process condensate from process condensate stripper that is having conductivity upto 50 micromho's & at the max Methanol 20ppm,NH3 10 ppm & CO2 10ppm. The simplest option is to take this water to DM Plant & feed it to start of the DM process . However with this ,the process condensate will be just like the filtered water. Can I treat this condensate only using an activated carbon bed & mix the outlet with polished water coming out of mixed bed bypassing anion ,degassing , cation & mixed bed .OR after activated carbon bed a mixed bed if used will do the job.
The process condensate quantity is approx 50 Te/hr & the the total polished water available at the outlet of DM water facility is around 275 Te/Hr.(This process condensate is ultimately to be used for BFW preperation)

That depends on the application of your DM water. If the steam generated from the boiler is not coming in contact with any food, hygiene or pharmaceutical products and the trace ppm levels of the by-products in the process condensate don't act as corrosion agents in the steam generation and distribution system then this should be very much feasible as long as your conductivity & pH of the process condensate is in close tolerance with the DM water from the DM water plant.
However, you would need to establish this by doing some trials by mixing small amounts of process condensate with the main DM water and see the resultant effects on your steam system. This can be progressively increased over a period of time if you find no detrimental effects on the steam system to the point where all of your process condensate can be safely recycled into the main DM water system.
