Hi,

Is there any correlations for estimating the cost of Rectisol process? Any references containing base cost, base scale and scale factor would be appreciated.

Thank you.

The following paper shows power/utility consumption for a typical Rectisol Unit. If you have process input data ready with you, the best idea is to contact Lurgi and ask for quotation. As said on few occasions already - if your company looks as a serious potential customer, Lurgi will provide you with basic process information and preliminary cost estimate.

It's not so easy to scale a Rectisol unit. The capital costs are depending on many paramters (e.g. application, gasification type, feed pressure, composition, ...). So Zauberberg is right to contact the licensor company (Lurgi, Linde) if you want a cost estimation.
