Does anyone know where I can find the PFD/P&ID symbols used in AutoCAD for plant designs? My professor provided several sheets of basic symbols but as I look into my plant design, I realized I need many other symbols which wasn't provided. I don't really to draw my own version of the symbol from like searching it from google. For example, I can search for the reboiler symbol in google images and probably make me own but it'll be rather "demented" or unproportional. So I'm wondering if anyone knows where i can find some symbols to use.

Limilicious,

Have a look at the following link. The attachment in the link for symbols should help.

Thanks for the input!

@Ankur
I found that file too but there wasn't any symbols on a decanter centrifuge. Or just a centrifuge, the horizontal ones used to separate solid/liquid.

@Zauberberg
I found the centrifuge symbol in one of the 3 files (I forgot which is which) though I don't know which one represent a decanter type centrifuge.
It had General, with Solid Shell, with Solid Shell and Motor, Disk Bowl, Horizontal Peeler, Perforated Shell, Disk type, Screw type, Pusher, Screw type with Perforated Shell.

I think its the screw type? I remember the decanter centrifuge operates using an outter shell that rotates and an inner compartment that is like a screw and rotates too. By having the two rotation speed one faster than the other, the centrifuge is able to separate and decanter the liquid on one side while solids on the other.
