Hi all,

We all are using heat transfer correlations of Nusselt number to evaluate heat transfer coefficient.
But there are two conditions in laminar flows

1. Convection with uniform surface heat flux for circular tubes
From Incropera & DeWitt

NuD = 4.36
2. Convection with uniform surface temperature for circular tubes
For the case of constant surface temperature

NuD = 3.66So , for Actual heat heat exchanger with laminar flow
which condition out of constsnt wall temp or constant heat flux condition exist,
so we can use directly value of nusselt number corresponds to it
