Hi ,
Let you get advise from the company doing water treatment in your facilty ( same than for cooling tower). You need to consider the hardness of the water , the silica content , the O2 content.

In addition to previous post by breizh, you can google "abma spec boiler feed water" (abma=American boiler manufacturers association) and trace a lot of information, e.g. from http://www.lenntech....acteristics.htm.
Note that requirements for boiler feed water (as well as for boiler water) become stricter as pressure of produced steam increases.
