Hi,
I'm a new hysys user. I want to simulate a hysys project with a fluid package containing water and LiBr (lithium bromide).
My problem is how to add and create the lithium bromide component (which is not exist in the HYSYS 6 libraby list). I want to porovide thermophysical properties, the water-LiBr reactions, the liquid-vapour equilibrium and other properties.... I have also experimental data (example : enthalpy curves....) based on different equations that I want to insert in HYSYS aiming in the lithium-bromide model.

Thank you for all.

Dear,

From Aspen-One V7.2 onwards you can use the aspen component library in addition to the existing Hysys component library. Since your project deals with the reactions so you need to be careful while creating Li-Br component as hypothetical. Any hypothetical component to define in Hysys needs the two basic properties out of these three i.e. 1.NBP, 2. Mol.Wt. and 3. Std.Density. I am not sure about the results with the hypothetical component reactions' results.
