I am looking into some chemical cost savings with a waste water stream. The stream is made up of water, some solids that can be taken out by filtration, and surfactants. Is there any way to viably separate the surfactants from the water?

Hi ,
Apart using anti foam to reduce the foaming tendency , I don't see a way to get rid of surfactant !

As an adjunct, the cheapest antifoam will be kerosene.
