Hi All,
What are the precautions when carrying out "blast purges" on the FCC slide valve ?
Blast purges are generally used to remove the catalyst build up in the slide valve... But if I want to remove the catalyst build up in the pipe, Can I use the blast purges while keeping slide valve completely closed... that way the Nitrogen at 7 barg will be passing through the pipe at the upstream of slide valve but will not be passing through the slide valve.... Can it be detrimental to the slide valve disk ?
Thank You
