Hello everyone,

I want to ask where can I find the generic wilson VLE equation, especially for binary mixture.
The most important thing is where can I find the binary values (Aij) for various kind of mixtures, or maybe there is an equation to calculate this parameter. But I think the equation will still involve another parameters. So I really need a complete equation and all kind of parameters involved. Anybody know where I can find it ????

Thanks

The best treatment of this that I have found is the book "Computer Aided Data Book of Vapor-Liquid Equilibria" by M. Hirata, S. Ohe and K. Nagahama. Published by Kodansha Limited (Tokyo) and Elsevier in 1975. The first few chapters discuss the theory and derivtion of the coefficients, and the balance of the book consists of about 1000 sets of binary data. I guess it is out of print now, but you might get one from one of the online second-hand book sellers, or on a library loan.

I have attached a typical page from the data section for you to see its scope.
