hi, i am a student of chem. engg in india. i m given a project on the "design of the ion exchanger for water treatment". so for that i wants some guide line.plz, help me.......
for the design of ion ex. i have to first select any one resin which i use in that.there are many resin used in the ion ex. so i want to know the name of very common used resin. which is easily available and also some other.
for the design i want to know that how can we know the capacity of resin to exchange the ion or how it is defined and also the life of the resin and also efficiency or effectiveness.
how can we easily measure the hardness of water?
how much resin we should use for softening water of some perticular hardness? and something else related to my project.plz, help me..
