Dear all,
I am trying to silmulate one of the refinery stream "heavy isomerate" in HYSYS to genrate the properties data. The stream is coming from the isomerization unit. Can you please identify the nomenclature for the following 04 components. Hysys is not identifying these components so i am not able the get the required properies. These components are part of every stream which is coming from isomerization unit. In heavy isomerate stream these contain the significant percentage so it can not be even ignored.
1- 5N6
2- 6N6
3- 6N7
4- 6N8
I will appreciate if any body can confirm the components name or their structural formula and their group/family.
Regards
Abid

If you know what iis the chemical formula of all the components from the Isomerate stream, I'm sure you can find them in HYSYS. The way they are represented in your post does not say anything - except for the people familiar with such nomenclature.

Zauberberg,
Thanks for the response. actually this terminology is presented by the licensor in the HMB data. Therefore i don't know the complete name or chemical formula of the component.

Who is the licensor, if it Axens, they provide the details just after the design basis.
