Pl help me out in a simulation excercise.I encountered some problem on stripper column converging and this simulation has to be carried out for NGL recovery plant. Rather explaining the whole process behind the simulation and which is also not required for this problem, Let me explain the condition of inlet streams to the stripper column & its specifiction to be achieved. Untill Inlet conditions to the stripper column worked out well after which not solving due to some datas overspecified/underspecified..

The Purpose of the stripper column is to remove Ethane and H2S mole fraction to the required product specification.

The Specifications are 0.0005 Ethane and 0.0003 H2S molefraction, by adjusting reboiler temperature. Of course Boil up ratio will be considered default as 0.5.
I have been trying to solve this problem but could not resolve..Pls anyone guide me on this issue.

Attachment has 3 inlet stream condition and composition..Hope i have provided suffice information to sort out this problem, if anyother info. required will be posted following ur replies

Regards,
ramesh

The excel sheet does not have the component names for the respective compositions. What package are you using for column simulation?

Well now i furnished the components details of their respective composition.

HYSYS V 7.1 module has been used for the simulation.
