Dear All,

I am a process engineer at a reputed multinational organization. I am well versed in steady state simulation using Aspen Hysys, recently I have started to learn dynamic simulation. For this I downloaded a tutorial which is attached with this email. Everything was going fine until I came on pg # 18 of the attached document and wanted to enter PV Range for Feed FC controller. Whenever I enter a value in this field it shows empty as if I have not entered anything. Due to this the controller remains RED and simulation cannot proceed.

I will be wanting guidance at this point.

Hello to all,

I am mechanical engineering student current taking the hydration prediction project. I am on the half way doing the prediction using hysys. However, i have the problem to predict the formation pressure of gas hydrate lower than 0 degree celcius, since the "hydrate formation utility" envelope only indicate that "ice form first".
Based on this problem i hope someone who has xperience with hysys before can give me simple guide to solve that, as i am still in doubt that my prediction method is on the wrong way. Do i need to use COMthermo or multiflash as i suspect what i done is only the two phase prediction indeed i want the three phase prediction.
Really hope someone can guide me since school cant help on me too.

thx for sharing the tutorial.. ive been thru it.. and it solve perfectly in dynamic mode.. except the part where u need software call "control station".. at first i struggled the same prob.. after i change hysys to latest version 2006 above.. it works fine.. so try to upgrade the software version.. i might work for u too.. happy learning! =P

p/s if someone has software call "control station" do PM me..
