Hi,
I'm currently designing a plant to convert syngas to liquid fuels through Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. I'm using a PFR but when I try to use the Ergun equation to calculate the pressure drop for me it gives me an error saying something like calculated pressure gradient is excessively high. Does anyone know why this happens and what I can do to fix it? I've tried using different reactor volumes and tweaking the void fraction a bit but with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
