Dear All,
The 6" ball valve as per ASME B16.10 has two dimensions based on Long Pattern Type A and Long Pattern Type B.
Can someone explain what is the purpose of these two valves?

I think A refers to face-to-face dimention for "Raised Face" flanged valves and B refers to end-to-end dimention for valves having "Buttwelding Ends".
