types of flares as my knowledge are High pressure flare medium pressure flare low pressure flare
also we can classify these types : wet gas flare, sour gas some thing like that i was in Qatargas company this is for gas plants
Purge gas mostlly it's nitrogen and used to remove any gas from vessel or column i hope gave you a notes
